Role Overview

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating high-converting product visuals, brand assets, and marketplace content. The role involves developing a visual identity, designing packaging and promotional materials, and maintaining brand compliance across platforms. This is an on-site role with occasional out-of-hours work for major launches.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop brand identity: logo, colour palette, typography, voice guidelines
• Design listing images: hero shots, galleries, infographics, size charts
• Create marketplace content: banners, headers, A+ pages, offer tiles
• Produce ads and social media assets: static, video, GIFs, overlays
• Design packaging, inserts, labels, barcodes, and compliance marks
• Build reusable templates and design systems for product families
• Art-direct product photography and retouch images
• Run A/B tests on creatives with the e-commerce team
• Ensure brand and image compliance across platforms
• Coordinate with copywriting, PPC, and catalogue teams
• Maintain a clean and organised asset library

Required Skills and Experience

Essential

• Portfolio demonstrating marketplace product design and branding
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience using Figma for rapid iterations and components
• Strong typography, layout, and visual hierarchy skills
• Photo editing and non-destructive retouching
• Understanding of marketplace image rules and best practices
• Ability to brief and QA photography
• Excellent file hygiene and version control
• Clear and concise communication skills

Desirable

• Experience with After Effects or Premiere for product videos
• Basic 3D mockup skills (Dimension, Blender)
• Familiarity with eBay storefronts and other marketplaces
• Basic SEO knowledge for image naming and alt text
• Experience in consumer goods or Home & Kitchen categories
