Erasmus Mundus EMABG Scholarship 2027 – Fully Funded

The European Commission is funding a fully covered route into one of Europe's most distinctive joint Master's programmes: the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Animal Biodiversity and Genomics (EMABG). Open to applicants from anywhere in the world, the scholarship covers the full cost of a 2-year Master's degree delivered across six universities in the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, France, Germany, and Norway, with no application fee.

The programme is built around a genuinely international, multi-country study structure — students must complete study at three or more universities across three or more different countries during the course, giving graduates a level of exposure and network few single-institution Master's programmes can match.

About the Programme

EMABG is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) programme addressing real scientific, practical, and societal challenges in animal breeding, biodiversity, and genetics. The programme's stated aim is to develop future leaders equipped to tackle biodiversity depletion and global food security, extending beyond academia into industry and wider society. As part of the application process, the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) collects and processes certain personal information from candidates, as is standard for Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programmes.
