Job Summary

Mantra is looking for an Assistant Manager with experience in a similar role or someone who has worked as a Senior Waiter and is ready to progress into a management position.

In this role, you will help ensure customers receive the best possible service while maintaining staff productivity, operational standards, and health and safety requirements within the restaurant.

You will oversee and monitor the work of junior staff and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant and bar.

Working alongside the Head Chef, you will also contribute to developing regular and new marketing strategies, as well as recruiting and training new staff members.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership, supervisory, organisational, and interpersonal skills. You should be motivated, comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment, able to get the best out of staff, and capable of coordinating effectively between kitchen and waiting teams.

Prior hospitality experience is required, although training will be provided according to the needs of the role.
