About Costello Medical
Costello Medical is a rapidly growing global healthcare agency specialising in medical communications, market access, health economics, and outcomes research. The company works with pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, patient and public health organisations, and charitable organisations to deliver evidence-based healthcare solutions.
The company has been recognised among the Top 100 Best Companies to Work For since 2017 and received B Corporation Accreditation in 2022.
About the Role
Costello Medical is seeking Analysts to join its Value and Access and Evidence Development service areas. Analysts work on projects involving the detailed analysis of clinical trial data and the creative presentation of findings in formats such as posters, slide sets, reports, and peer-reviewed publications.
The work is structured around individual projects, and Analysts typically work across several projects and disease areas at the same time.
You will work alongside experienced colleagues who will provide training in technical skills, project management, and client communication. As you develop within the role, you will increasingly participate in client teleconferences and face-to-face meetings with external stakeholders.
Depending on your interests, skills, and business requirements, you may work within one of several specialist teams.
Value and Access Teams
Market Access: Supports clients in developing communication strategies that demonstrate the clinical and economic value of innovative medicines and help improve patient access to treatments.
Health Technology Assessment (HTA): Contributes to projects demonstrating the clinical and economic value of innovative therapies, supporting reimbursement and patient access decisions.
Health Economics: Supports health economists with protocols, reports, model inputs, and clinical or scientific insights relating to healthcare interventions.
Evidence Development Teams
Literature Reviews: Supports systematic and pragmatic evidence reviews involving clinical, economic, and real-world evidence.
Real-World Evidence: Works on real-world studies using sources such as patient registries, claims databases, and prospective studies to investigate disease burden, treatment effectiveness, and healthcare economics.
Statistics: Provides statistical and analytical expertise using tools such as R, STAN, BUGS, and Excel. Projects may involve clinical trial data, real-world observational data, regression, survival analysis, and Bayesian network meta-analysis.
You may also have opportunities to collaborate with teams working in areas such as Health Policy, Rare Diseases, and MedTech.
